The connection
One catalogue, not two
The point of connecting to your till is that nobody keeps a second list of products and prices by hand. That list is where online shops go wrong.
What moves, and in which direction
Four movements. Everything else is detail on top of these.
Products and prices, out
Your catalogue is read from your own system, so the online shop shows what the shop sells at the price the shop charges.
Availability, out
What is sellable online is decided by you, not by us. Where stock information is reliable it is used; where it is not, we say so rather than pretend.
The order, in
A placed order becomes a document in your system, the same way an order taken at the counter does.
Changes, both ways
A missing item, a substitution or a cancellation is recorded once, with who did it and why, and both sides agree afterwards.
What the compatibility check looks at
Half an hour of looking at your actual installation, before anyone promises anything. It costs nothing.
We look at
- Which system and version you run
- Whether the module that allows a connection is licensed
- How your products and prices are organised
- Whether the machine can be reached safely from outside
- How your shop takes and prepares orders today
We do not promise
- That every installation connects
- Perfect live stock before it is proven in practice
- A date, before we have looked
- That nothing in your shop's routine changes
Being straight about it
Where this stands today
You are entitled to know what is built and what is not before you spend time on us.
No shop is connected yet
The commerce side is built and tested, and the connection to a real till is the part we are working on now, with a first shop. If you would rather wait until another shop is running, that is a reasonable thing to say and we will keep you posted instead.
Next step
Shall we look at your system?
The compatibility check is the first step and the only way to answer the question properly for your shop.
- You tell us your setup Which system, which version, roughly how many products.
- We check it On your own installation, at no cost and with no commitment.
- An honest answer Whether it connects, what is missing, and what it would take.
