What we keep, and what we do not

This page is about our own website. Every shop using Kalathi has its own policy covering its own customers.

Who we are

Registration details are not published yet

We do not show a VAT or commercial registry number before it is final, because a made-up number on a company's own site is worse than none. They will appear here once they exist. In the meantime, write to epikoinonia@kalathi.eu about anything concerning your data.

This website

The pages you are reading now.

We do not use

  • Tracking cookies
  • Google Analytics or any other statistics tool
  • Social network buttons or embeds
  • Advertising networks or pixels
  • Fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else's servers

We keep only

  • Technical server logs, for security and error diagnosis
  • Whatever you send us by email, so we can reply

That is why there is no cookie banner

It is not an omission. This site sets no tracking cookie, so there is nothing to ask consent for. A shop's online store uses two technical cookies, one for the basket and one for form security, and both are strictly necessary for the order you asked to place.

An important distinction

A shop's customer data

The most common misunderstanding, so it is said plainly.

The shop is responsible, not us

When someone orders from a shop, their details belong to that shop, and that shop decides what happens to them. We process them only on its behalf, as its software provider, and only as far as the order requires. We do not sell them, we do not use them for our own marketing, and no shop can see another shop's customers.

For data about an order placed with a shop, ask that shop first: it is the controller and can answer directly. For anything concerning us, write to epikoinonia@kalathi.eu. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
